Why don't "Language Focus" scenes include transcripts? Would you mind adding them?

No, I don't mind

It is very easy to understand what they are talking about and there are only 2 or 3 sentences in a scene which I may have problem to understand. What about you?

Hello,

We don't include transcripts because Language Focus is not for practising listening, it's for concentrating on the language.

What's the different pronounciation between 'life' and 'live' (adjective)? They are sound similar for me. Are they decided by the context of sentence?

thank you :)

Hello,

Our online dictionary (on the right) includes pronunciation examples you can listen to, so that's probably the easiest way for you to answer your question.

On question number 3 (Task 1) I thought it was "I love playing by Shakespeare.." instead "I love plays". Could you please explain that?

Hello,

The key here is 'by' - 'playing by someone ' can mean for example playing a game near them, but nothing that would make sense in the context of Shakespeare.
