I visit often Cambridge another famose universty in UK where my daughter lives. It's Amazing. The colleges are so beautifull and I fancy to visit them in the graduation days
Oxford University seems be an excellent place to visit or even study there. I know that many important people studied there, for example, Margareth Tatcher and Bill Clinton.
Thanks! I really enjoy these videos. Specialy Stephen's one. He is so handsome boy!
I very often hear "you know" in conversations. Is it filler too?
Hello Samira_81,
In most contexts 'you know' does function as a filler. Or, to put it another way...
It does function as a filler in most contexts, you know.
Best wishes,

Thank you
Hi. Why Bob said "I was talking with Ashlie"? Probably I use "have talking". What difference between past continous and past perfect?
Thank you
Hi The LearnEnglish Team, this section is very helpful for me,but I still confuse the word "stuff"
Could you tell me more about how to use "stuff" ,I want to know it more clearly.
Thanks a lot.
Hi Pei Wen,
'Stuff' is a general word to describe something that we either do not recognise or that we do not want or need to identify. It is similar to 'thing' except that it is used for uncountable rather than countable items. It is quite informal, but is not slang or non-standard in any way.
Best wishes,
Peter
