Hi.. I love Word on the street section a lot.. It helps me to learn the pronunciation of words and the speed. I am using these tips in my daily practice and i think i am improving day by day.

Hello English team,
I really appreciate your site.I'm from Iran but unfortunately  I have a problem with video.I can't see them for some reason this message appeared "video format or MME type is not supported.(firefox 14).Or I can see with interruption.
Could you please tell me the time of word street on Persian BBC?

Hello Paniz!
Glad to hear you like the site. Just to check, have you tried the option that says "Can't see the video? Click Here!" underneath the main box? We know some our visitors have trouble seeing the main video so we are trying this solution. Unfortunately, it is a little bit slow, so perhaps this is why you are getting interrupts - just give the video some time to load! If that doesn't help, let me know, and we'll try to find out what the problem is.

As for the time of Word on the Street, I believe the series has finished for now, but you can check the BBC Persian website.

Hope that helps!

Hello Sir Jeremy,

I enjoying the practise test here I loved to try it again and again.

Thank you so much.

Britain is  part of Europe. But it is true.

Hi again
In  "Task2" "question6/6", the right answer regarding video is "Dover" but  "The coast" is checked as correct answer, please check it and let me know whether I'm right or not?

Hello Basafa!
Good spot - you're right, and I've fixed the mistake. Thanks for letting us know, and enjoy the rest of the site!

The section Word on the street helps me a lot with my pronunciation and comprehesion of the language.
I two week i'm going to use the language for my work and i'd like to give me an advice about how i can learn english a lot more.

I'm glad to hear you've learned so much from the website! How are you going to use English in your work? Are you going to write reports or give a presentation or something else?
Best wishes,
