i have a question !

what is the difference between " practise" and " practice " ??

Hello Alaa!

In British English, practice is a noun, and practise is a verb. Have a look at the two different words using our Cambridge online dictionary, on the right of the page, to see examples of how to use them.

When you look at those definitions, you'll see that practice is used both as the noun and the verb in US English.

Hope that helps!

Hi Alaa
I think, both of them are verb and you can use them with the meaning: " do an activity" , but " practice" is always used in US.

it's so funny to watch this video ! i'm learning a lot from all your activities and videos. i would like to learn english , that's why i'm following rob's advice and i'm practising this foreing language :) But please if there is a mistake in my comment correct it to me . thank you so much .

i agree with you , these videos are really fantastic and they helped me a lot to improve my English . I enjoyed all of them .

the only mistake i noticed from your comment is the word " foreign" , you typed it " foreing" , i think this error resulted from trying to type fast :)

nice effort.infact the videos r fantastic but there must be downloading for video

Hello jia!

Glad you like the videos! We would like to offer video downloads, but unfortunately it's not possible for Word on the Street, for legal reasons.

Hope you can enjoy them anyway!

It's a very good video, but how can i download transcript? beacause i have difficulties to understand english

Hello Rehile!

These language focus clips are like mini lessons, not listening exercises, so they don't have transcripts. If you understand what Rob is teaching and can do the exercises – then that's all you need! It's not comprehension, but language work. If you still find them a bit difficult, try some thing a little easier - like our Elementary Podcast series.

Good luck!
