Listen to an interview with a recruitment expert, who talks about his experience of reading CVs and offers some good advice on writing them.

Do the Preparation task first. Then listen to the audio. Next go to each Task and do the activity. If you need help, you can read the transcript at any time.

Task 1

Task 2

Task 3

Weak forms are syllable sounds that become unstressed in connected speech and are often then pronounced as a schwa.

In the sentence below the first 'do' is a weak form and the second is stressed.

What do you want to do this evening?

Weak forms are very common in English. Listen carefully and fill in the gaps with the missing words typed out in full.

I would like any advice to take CAE exam ...
Is there any oe who has it taken ?

I have never taken the CAE exam, but I used to teach students who were studying for it. It's a difficult exam unless your English is very good already, so be prepared for lots of work. The format is quite specific, so read about it and do lots of practice tests to become familiar with it.
You can find lots of information on the official Cambridge ESOL CAE website, including free resources.

Thanks for your advice , I'm a new member and I had bad and wrong pronunciation.
it is a big problem  . Can you please help and  advice me to improve my pronunciation and how can I  read correctly .

Hello SoSo,
Improving pronunciation is quite hard without a teacher to help you by telling you what your main problems are.
Our main pronunciation resource on LearnEnglish is the Sounds Right pronunciation chart. You can also work on your pronunciation by listening to our English learning podcasts and videos and recording yourself reading the transcript, then comparing your recording to ours.

i have question after i listened to this vedio that is why the  questioner say we’ll get studying! but not we have got studied.

He says 'let's get studying' because he has just learned that it's important to speak different languages to get a good job, so they should start studying. 'We have got studied' is not really grammatical English.
