My last holiday

My last holiday was a five-day trip to Prague in the Czech Republic. I know Prague well because I lived there when I was at university, more than ten years ago.

Instead of staying in a hotel, I stayed with one of my old friends. It was so much fun, and a little bit like my old life. I wanted to do all the same things I did in my university days, so I visited the university. It has changed a lot and looks more modern. I also went to the supermarket near my old house. I loved seeing all the different foods. I was really happy to find my favourite cheese and chocolate biscuits but they were a bit more expensive than I remember!

We did some touristy things too. We walked up beautiful Petrin Hill and around the castle. The views of the city are amazing up there. We walked across the historic Charles Bridge. My friend's flat is very near the TV Tower so we saw the famous baby statues climbing up it. Those things haven't changed, of course.

1. Try to make your writing interesting for the reader. To do this, you can make it personal with your own memories and experiences.

2. Use adjectives to add detail to your descriptions.

3. Write clear and simple sentences and organise your ideas in short paragraphs. Give each paragraph a different topic.

4. Use so, but, and, because and other linking words.

Hello estiallina,

The titles of books, films and so on are capitalised, as are all proper nouns. The titles of articles, on the other hand, can be written in normal sentence case, particularly in less formal contexts and in online articles.

For example, both the Guardian and the Independent do not capitalise their article titles:

My last holiday was in Germany. I'm growed up there so it isn't quite a common tourist holiday for me.
I went by car with my wife and our four kids. It was a really long drive (about 1300 kilometre) so we stayed in a hotel in the middle of the journey.
When we arrived we had a really relaxed time with my wife's family.
I t was a great holiday for us because we spend a lot of time with our old friends and our relatives but next time we'll travel by plane.

A few corrections:
In English we don't say, "I'm growed up there". We would say, "I grew up there." it's isn't exactly a tourist holiday for me." or 'so it's not quite a tourist holiday for me'. No need for the word 'common'.

"It was a great holiday for us because we spent (not spend)...".
I hope this was helpful!

My last holiday was in Lazarevskoye. Lazarevskoye is the microdistrict of Sochi, a resort on the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar region. We stayed there with my family for 5 days. We swam all day and visited the rides, and went for a walk in the evening. I want to come back here with my daughter ☺️

Hi! My last weekend with my family spent one month in Bukhara. I enjoyed the city of Bukhara. Especially when you get to the city, you will see history. The national patterns and images in the mausoleum were amazed at me. Moreover, I've come to love tourists from France, Italy, Germany, Japan and South Korea. The boom always boosts the quality of good mood and productivity.

Unfortunately, I have not had amazing holiday until now. I hope this occur for me soon.

My last holiday was a trip to Bavaria, in Germany, for seven days. I stayed in Munich, at the confortable hotel, near the centre of the city. I visited some of famous Bavarian castles and the beautiful Nuremberg.

During vacations I have traveled to Tashkent, Shakhrisabz, Samarkand. These cities are very old. First, the Great Silk Road passed through these places. Welcome to Tashkent!!! Welcome to Shakhrizabz!!! Welcome to Samarkand!!!

My last holiday was amazing, it was in Jambelí Island (Ecuador), I was for the first time here.
It was very fun because I shared good moments with my family, including my nephews, nieces, siblings and parents. We went from the bay to the island by boat, this lasted 15 minutes. When we arrived, we went to a restaurant and we ate seafood, it was delicious.
My family and me enjoy beach all afternoon.
