Hi,

This video is interesting but it is difficult to understand at several first times of listening. I only just understood it when i checked transcript.

How can i get information easily from listening?

Hi Huong.vulan26,

I'm afraid the only answer is practice and more practice! The more you listen, the better you will get. Using the transcript is a very good idea. After doing the exercises, try listening with the transcript (listening and reading). Then try saying the text yourself, which will help both with speaking and with familiarisation of what you are listening to. Finally, try saying it with (and at the same speed as) the recording. This will help you to develop speed in your speech and also to get used to the rhythms of spoken English, which will help you to understand it when you listen.

I hope those suggestions are helpful.

Best wishes,

Peter

thank you for suggestions!

In my opinion, the most happy and peaceful person like Gandhi or mother Theresa never post about what they were doing in social media, they really enjoy the moment they live, and other people then, who post about these wonderful person's activity.
So, I agree with Lucyao's opinion.

Hi to all
This way is very good for learn english
Thanks for all member

The message it gives us that don't mourn yourself on what you don't have. Just be grateful on what you have. If you want to achieve something instead of crying work hard. How well do social media posts show real life. It depends on the person how he/she present the post.

That is behaviours types are often in persons with so low self-esteem or they do not feel satisfied with yourself. For instance, when those type persons look posts with wonderful places by your friends they feel sadness or jealousy. That is behaviours types don't affect me yet. Another important aspect is trying to avoid any post with the only intention is affect mood.

First thing first, I would like to say that this video is so interesting as it shows the reality of life all around the world nowadays.

It surely has. I think it's such a normal feeling for anyone that sometimes by looking other people posts can consciously/unconsciously affect our mood. It can be positive or negative. It depends on how we respond to them.

In one hand, it can be such a mood booster, a kind of positive energy that can motivate us of doing something positive or being happy.

On the other hand, someone's post can ruin our moods or feeling down and intimidated.

Accordingly, there will always be various efforts to protect ourselves from this problem. One's solution might be different to the others. In my point of view, at first, we should realize that this feeling "it's normal". So, no worries. Secondly, people has their own unique life with the ups and downs. Thirdly, the common solution is we should be grateful for what we have by enjoying each precious moment mindfully.

I myself do realize that it's always never easy to do them in action. At least, we know that life is full of uncertainties with lots of surprises.

So, let's be inspired and inspire others :)

I love your analysis of the movie

its true. Some people really live this stuation. It is very bad. And everything is not like social media. Instagram or whatsapp or twitter its does not matter.
