What's the difference between a 'crossing' and a 'crossroads'? Do these exercises to help learn words for the things around your town and find out!

I can see the road and traffic light.

There are crossing, traffic lights, crossroads near my house. But signposts is located near the Lenin's square in my town.

Near home it is a hayway with signposts, streetlights, and two bridges; one for cars and second for walkers. Every week i cross the road to the other side to take a walk in woods with my little son

1. Roundabouts are in the middle of the road and car drive around them.
2. A crossing is a place where people on foot can cross to the other side. And a crossroads is the place where four roads meet is called.
3. Signposts show us where different places are.
4. Pavement is the place along the side of the road where people can walk.
5. Square is an empty area in the center of town where people often meet.

Mostly i see the cross roads, roundabouts, street lights , pavement, bus stop & heavy traffic in my city.
