Dear Team,
thanks a lot again for helping us.Is there anything wrong in the phrase''...our landlord was really helpful, couldn't do enough for us.''? How can we say someone being ''helpful'' without him be able to do ''enough for us''?

Hello nikoslado
Yes, I can see how that would sound strange. When we say that someone 'can't do enough for us', it means that the person is always trying to do more to help us. It's as if, from that person's point of view, they can't do enough for us, because they always want to do more for us.
It's a somewhat strange way to say it, but the expression is quite common!
All the best
