Hello agrawal,

I'm not sure I completely understand your question, but I assume you are asking about speaking to groups of people - public speaking, in other words, rather than just speaking in general.  If so, then this is a very particular skill which is separate from language ability - after all, there are many people whose English is perfect but who are unable to speak well in public.  My advice for you would be to look for some tips on public speaking in your own language, covering areas such as organising your talk, dealing with questions, using visual aids and so on, which you can transfer to such speaking in English.

Public speaking generally involves speaking for a relatively long time without interruption from the listener(s), so preparing notes for yourself is very important - not a script to read, but clear notes to guide you as to what to say, in what order and for how long.  Using these notes to practise before you actually give the talk is very important.

One section on LearnEnglish which might be of help to you is the Talk About section, in which people talk about various subjects of interest to them

I hope those suggestions are helpful to you.  Good luck!

Best wishes,

This is really great. Thanks to British Council

Hi people.
I would like to improve my communication skills.
May I know which section can help me by enhancing my communication skills?
Thank in advance...

good

Hello Carol Chau,

I think the most helpful section for this will be the Listen & Watch section, as it will give you great models for natural communication in a wide range of contexts.  Take a look at the How to... series, which has episodes looking at the language used in different contexts.

I hope that is helpful for you.

Best wishes,

That's really useful. There are several ways to say "I didn't hear you, could you please repeat." I think it's specially useful in an interview.

Thanks for all your support with videos, etc...
