I have got enough money to invest in the business.
He is good enough to work as a professional chef.

We use 'enough' before nouns but after adjectives.

Language level

Intermediate: B1

it was really good for me
but one thing , i could not play the sound
i wish only if i can know my real level in this language

Hello Hasna iatsalem,

Are you able to play the audio now? We had a technical problem with our audio recently, but it's working for me now. If you can't hear it, please try using a different device or web browser to see if that helps.

You are welcome to do our English level test, but I'm afraid it's only to give you an idea of what level to use on our site. A more comprehensive test would be need to find out your precise level.

All the best,

The LearnEnglish Team

Dear Team,in Task 1it says:''Choose the name of the characters who said each thing in this episode.'' Because it's about rather their thoughts than their saying (they don't say these things, but maybe they think or feel like this), there should be a different wording or formulation of the exercise.Am I right?

Hello nikoslado,

Yes, you are correct that the exercise is about thoughts or intentions rather than words. We can use 'say' to mean 'communicate' in more general terms, however. For example, we can talk about what people 'say' through body language or facial expressions, or even in writing.

Thanks for the Episode, it was really helpful.

When Faid said to Carlos: “Perhaps you’ll make it up”.
What does Fadi mean?

Thank you,

Hello thiagocrvg,

When people have had an argument and they get back on friendly terms we say that they have made it up. You can also say that one person has made up with the other person.

I simply dont get it

Hi Newsbug,

Have you tried reading the transcript while listening to the audio? This might help you understand it more. We're happy to help you if you have any specific questions.

Or if you find this difficult to understand, I would suggest our Starting Out video series.

All the best,
