Do you ever make phone calls or leave voicemail messages in English? Absolutely indeed I made phone calls every day to my family, colleagues, and friends the main things is to share information, provide some updates, give personal advise thoughts and opinion, discussion about new trends and happenings in work-related or outside the workplace.

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help in pointing me in the right direction. My wife is going to be having an English test in August as part of the requirement for joining me in the UK and the test is A1 Speaking and Listening. If any of you have been down a similar path using any of the tools on here, I'll really appreciate your help. Many thanks.

Hello ameensam1

I would recommend our Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking skills pages at the A1 level. There are also a few more videos in the LearnEnglish Teens Speaking skills section that could be helpful, and our Starting Out video series might also be a good resource. I'd also recommend visiting TakeIELTS, where you can find additional resources that should be helpful. Finally, our social media team posts useful links every day on our Facebook page -- you might find some useful resources there as well.

Good luck to both of you!

All the best

Kirk
