Hi Sunny!

How are you?

We're finally coming to Singapore so I wanted to ask your advice on what we should do while we're there. What shouldn't we miss? We'll have our two kids aged 6 and 8 with us so ideally we want to do things we can enjoy as a family.

We've already got a hotel booked in Marina Bay and we arrive on 12 May for a week.

I hope you're around so we can meet up!

See you soon,

Hi Janet!

Lovely to hear from you and how exciting that you're coming!

You've picked a great area to stay in as it's right next to a must-see attraction, Gardens by the Bay. They light them up at night and the kids will love it. Another place to take the little ones is the zoo, and the Night Safari is really worth doing. The animals are much more active at night than during the day, so it's pretty special.

As for food, there's quite a variety here. I'd recommend trying laksa and kaya toast – they're both really typical Singaporean foods. You can also eat well and cheaply at street markets. You should definitely check them out.

Can't wait to see you all!

If you go to Cartagena, the historical part is worth going to. It's amazing because you feel like you are centuries ago. Also, San Andres is a must-see site, this island is incredible. Its sea has 7 different types of blue and has wonderful weather. On the other hand, you'll love Quindio because in this city you can find the best coffee in the world. I'd recommend you stay in the Park Coffe. See you soon! Paula PS: I hope you find fascinating my country.

I would recommend for tourists visiting Machu Picchu because it is one of the most interesting and revealing places in the word. For staying in I would recommend the Cusco hotel, which is really beautiful, because it is near to a must- see attraction, The Inca Castle. Another place to have a great time is the market of Cusco where you can find and see different types of handcrafts. As for food, there's quite variety here. I'd recommend trying "causa" and "tamales" they're both really typical Peruvian foods. You can also eat well and cheaply at the market of Cusco.

Hi Janet! I’m so excited to hear you coming to my hometown this summer. There are a lot of places and exciting activities your family can enjoy while staying here. First, you should definitely visit the Imperial City, it’s very very special because it used to be the King’s place. And since your family travels together, Back Ma National Park is another great place to escape from the heat. There are swimming holes, waterfalls, and cable ropes in the middle of the jungle. Your family will love it. As for food, there’s a lot! You can get some famous foods like Pho or Bun bo Hue, I bet you heard about them before but haven’t tried the original taste. After that, my sister and I will give you a “special local cuisine tour” to eat all the delicious food at local prices, you guys don’t want to miss it. Can't wait to see you all!

Since I live in the city of Iași, Romania, I would recommend visiting the Palace of Culture as well the Palas Mall, which is just at a few steps away. The city can be defined as being modern and classic in the same time: glass buildings in contrast with old tramways imported from Germany, architectural wonders next to theb beige communist's buildings. As for food, you can find traditional food in many places throughout the city, including in the Palas Mall's food court. Do you want to go shopping? You have stores everywhere. Do you want nature? The botanical garden is waiting you. If you want a place full of modernism and classicism, Iași is a must-see place.

As I am now in Japan, so I want to invite you to visit Japan. Now as the season of Japan is winter, it is very cold. If you like to do skiing, it is the best time to visit Hokkaido. At there, there is a tunnel which is constructed across the beneath of the sea. For place to stay in, there are two kinds of places in Japan; hotels and Japanese-style inns. I'd recommend staying in Japanese-style inns to get a new experience. Even though, I haven't had foods which can be ordered in these inns, I have heard those are delicious. As for me, the Japanese box lunch called bento which can be bought easily in every convenient store and supermarket are more suitable. Although they are a little cheap, they fit my taste.

If you are coming to Yangon, a city tour is a must as we were colonized by British so there are many histories and interesting things to see. And eat street foods around Mahabandula Park but don’t eat too much because it can be a little unclean. Shwedagon Pagoda is also another place that is worth going as it’s the most famous Pagoda in Myanmar. And I will recommend taking the train to cycle the city because the train is really old and will make you feel like you are time traveling back to 100 years.

Well, I live in the capital of our country, so there are lots to see here. My city is more than 1500 years and it always was in the center of our community, the biggest and the richest city. The center of culture, education, and art. So, let's get started. First of all, I recommend visiting some ancient churches. Some of them were built about 1000 years ago. Then, you definitely have to see the main river of our country. It's wide and spectacular. Unfortunately, many of the old buildings, which were really beautiful, have been destroyed during the WW2. But there are still lots to see in the city center. And local food. It worth trying. May - is the best time to visit my city. It's warm (but not hot) and the streets are full of flowers.

Hi! So nice to hear from you. How are you? What a surprise that you're coming to Uruguay, I can't wait to see you! We should meet up in the independence square as soon as you arrive because it's near from the port. From there it's worth to visit the Solis theater and Salvo palace, in both places there are cheap guided visits. The rest of the days you should go to the beach, the water is warm and clean. I'd recommend you staying in Cabo Polonio, a place without electricity which it's in front of to the sea, perfect if you want to be in peace. As for food you have a plenty variety. You can eat in different restaurants or buy something to eat in the supermarkets. See you in a week! Bye!

If you come to Caracas, you should definitely visit Avila Mágica, it is the largest Cable Car in Venezuela. The main station is about 20 minutes by car from the city center. Just few minutes later you get into the cable car you will see how huge Caracas is, I prefer to do it during the sun set, it is a romantic and colorful show, but you can also do it when returning. Bring your jacket, you will feel the cold once you are in the top of the Avila Mountain. Once you´ve arrived you´ll see the coast side of Venezuela on the other side of the mountain. It´s kind of contrast, on one side the cold nice city, on the other, the hot summery beach!!

Hello my friend I hope you're doing well. If you live or stay in Caracas I'd definitely recommend you going to downtown Caracas. You should start in Bolivar's Square. It's a great place to getting fresh air. The children can play there and feed the squirrels and pigeons with corn. Cafe Artesano is another worth seeing as well. They offer a very good attention, good coffee and tasty desserts like 'golfeados'. 'La Casa Natal del LIbertador' is another must-see. It's the birthplace of our national hero Simón Bolívar. It's a great place to learn about the Venezuelan colonial life. In ther room you can see some famous paintings by Tito Salas like 'Delirio sobre el Chimborazo'. After that, if you want going for a drink you should go to 'Chocolates con Cariño'. There are a really friendly atmosphere. I will waiting you.

I hope you are going well and It is very appreciate to know you are going here. Istanbul is a very big city and there are millions of choice you can do with your family. For example, you can go to the Bosphorus and see the uniqe landscape. You should go a restauront and eat fish there. In fact, I highly recommend you to see Yerebatan Sarnıcı in Sultanahmet. Even you will hear about there because it is a very popular tourist attraction. If you like history, there are numbers of places you should see. You can visit Topkapı and learn about Ottoman Empire's history. As I said above, please don't hesitate about what you would like to do İstanbul so you probably will confuse about options. However, you should be careful about taxi and restaurant. It is better to ask when you rent a taxi about what you have to pay. It is important to look menu and ask price before you order something. Looking forward to see you again. Selman
