Sometimes, under certain circumstances and for a common goal. An obvious situation is at work when new staff are recruited and they need an orientation of the systems or departments. Perhaps and if I am allocated to do this, then I would have no choice but to first to introduce myself even though I usually don't like meeting new people.

Sure, it is always great to meet new people. It is like going to a new place, we have an instinctive curiosity and desire to know more about other people.

I like to meet new people but in the beginning I don't talk a lot. After I observe him/her I decide whether she will my friend or not. Actually I am not so friendly I love to be alone more.

I can't say I like to meet new people. On the one hand, meeting someone new is a great opportunity to learn something important from that person. You may make some useful professional contacts which could help you in your carrier or just find your soul mate who could enrich your life. On the other hand, you never know what kind of person is this. Is he (or she) toxic, or brutal, or dishonest?
