Subject: Booking 2 nights next week

Dear Ascot Hotel,

I would like to reserve an accessible single room for two nights with breakfast on the 22 and 23 of April. Could I have a quiet room with a view if possible, please?

I will arrive at about 10 p.m. and I have an early meeting the next morning, so please could you leave an iron and ironing board in the room?

I have a promotional code (MH2219). Please can you confirm that it is £80 per night with breakfast included?

Please could you confirm the booking? Let me know if you need any further information.

Many thanks.

With kind regards,

David Mathews

Tips

  1. When writing an email to a hotel, you can start with Hello or Dear (hotel name).
  2. Say clearly the dates you want, the room type and whether you want breakfast or not.
  3. Don't forget to mention any additional information or special requests.
  4. Ask them to confirm your booking. Give them your phone number if you prefer to be contacted that way.

Actually, before I book a hotel, I'll check the testimonials about it, and compare it with others hotel if they are close together. Certainly I would like to choose the better one of them. The most important thing is the convort and service of the hotel. Usually, I would like to prefer the single room with extra bed, no smoke and whether breakfast is served in buffet or not. If possible, I want to choose a room with a beautiful view.

I'm not very picky when it comes to facilities or service. Because I have a waek stomach, however, I order a special meal for breakfast like gluten-free or vegiterian one if the hotel doesn't have self-serve style buffet. When I arranged rooms for my clients at work, some of them had asked for an extra bed or a connecting room for their kids.

Usually when I book the hotel firstly want to be confirmed about date and price. Then want to about discount and other facilities which included with the price, for example, breakfast and swimming pool include or not?

So, if I've never been in that hotel, I usually survey some references about its. If I've already been there I often ask about prices and about available rooms.

When I book a hotel, I would like to ask if the room has its own kitchen or at least microwave so I can heat my food or make some couple hot drinks before bed.

I try to get all online information as posible when I book a room. If the hotel room suit with my preferences, I use to ask for the availability of dates on the type of room that I want and price.

When I book a hotel, first thing I always check review and then price. I don’t mind view, as long as half decent.
