One of my brothers - in- law is a mechanic. He has been working as a mechanic since he was 16 years old. Now He is a professional. He likes his job because he can support to his family with his income. He's really happy in his job.
My high school classmate has been a German brand car mechanic over 20 years, because he loves driving sport car to everywhere very much. He don’t like to drive any motorway or highway but curved mountain road actually.
My friend is a pilot who works in an one of the biggest airline in Turkey. His working time is changeable, sometimes his flight was at 02:00 am, sometimes 5:pm and the flight times are different. He stays at the arrived city rarely. After he comes back from long flight, he sleeps all day and wakes up the next day seldomly. His life is not regular or monotone. After all he loves his job. He could go diffent cities, countries, see other cultures, eat exotic foods, meet foreings.
Yes, my friend's sister works as a cook. The job is well paid and has a lot of benefits besides the salary like a good insurance, etc. but yet she thinks it is really tiring and she doesn't feel comfortable in high temperature. The pressure and the requirements of both employer and customers are difficult to satisfy.
I also know managers, and most of them are quite satisfied and happy with the job. They have lots of responsibilities and controlling the human resources is a tricky task. The job requieres much experience and special skills to succeed.
I don't have any friends do this mentioned jobs above but In my opinion, each of jobs has both advantages and disadvantages. Take some instances like:
+ Manager: a person, a job that can make a killing money but you have lots of pressures from your work, your company and even your employee,...
+ Waitress: I am used to do this job once and I both like and dislike. When you serve your customers and sometimes you may meet some difficult client and make you in ordeal situations or you do not make any mistakes or wrong but when their mood is not good, they also make difficulties for you.
+ Cook: you may be a good cook and make a lot of nice food but you can't make all your customer satisfy with your food. Each of people has personal taste and sometimes you can be received complains from them about your food
But I think, no matter what job you do. when you choose it choose this job you do you should be passionate to it and try your best to do it.
