Subject: Booking 2 nights next week

Dear Ascot Hotel,

I would like to reserve an accessible single room for two nights with breakfast on the 22 and 23 of April. Could I have a quiet room with a view if possible, please?

I will arrive at about 10 p.m. and I have an early meeting the next morning, so please could you leave an iron and ironing board in the room?

I have a promotional code (MH2219). Please can you confirm that it is £80 per night with breakfast included?

Please could you confirm the booking? Let me know if you need any further information.

Many thanks.

With kind regards,

David Mathews

Tips

  1. When writing an email to a hotel, you can start with Hello or Dear (hotel name).
  2. Say clearly the dates you want, the room type and whether you want breakfast or not.
  3. Don't forget to mention any additional information or special requests.
  4. Ask them to confirm your booking. Give them your phone number if you prefer to be contacted that way.

When I book a hotel room, the first thing I ask whether there is a double room on my date and how much it cost. Then I am interested in other things like breakfast, hairdryer, wi-fi, view from the window, etc.

When i book a hotel room I will ask for wifi, price, big mirror and the time for checkin, checkout. Wifi ist the most important thing in my opinion, because i can not work without internet. Wifi must robust and fast enough to play youtube (for example). The hotels i have vistied before do not have big mirror, i do not know why, it is needed to check your outfit before going out.

If I have to book a hotel room for any trip. The first thing I ask would be per night charges with including breakfast or without including breakfast. Then I would want to know about the services if they have a wifi facility or not. Do they have a TV in the room or not. How much far the hotel is from the main city and I definitely do some research by myself over the internet.

Actually, before I book a hotel, I'll check the testimonials about it, and compare it with others hotel if they are close together. Certainly I would like to choose the better one of them. The most important thing is the convort and service of the hotel. Usually, I would like to prefer the single room with extra bed, no smoke and whether breakfast is served in buffet or not. If possible, I want to choose a room with a beautiful view.
