First, I send a few messages just to know if they are OK with an idea or a plan. Afterwards, I usually make a call to talk about the details, calls are quicker and often avoid misunderstandings.

Normally I prefer talk than texts in my language but here in London where I currently live I prefer to send texts.

I use line to make a plan with my friends. chatting via line is easy and I don't have to care about where I am. I sometimes use stamps in line to express my feeling. but If I want to tell a long story to friends, I will just call them.

I prefer to send text messages to my best friends to make plans, but when I need to plan activities about my work, speaking is the best way to do it.
