Man: So, did you see the final episode last night?
Woman: Of course! As if I would miss that!
Man: And?
Woman: It was by far the best episode, definitely.
Man: Yeah, totally. The dragon at the end and all the special effects in that final scene were amazing.
Woman: I loved that part! But I still don't think this series was as good as the others.
Man: Really? But you said you wouldn't want to miss it?
Woman: I know, but still … it's a lot more predictable than it used to be.
Man: But that's because the story has been told so well that all the characters are reaching their destiny now.
Woman: I don't know … before, anyone could die at any time so it was exciting! But, this series, no key characters died and we all knew they wouldn't. When Jaime fell in the water after the dragon attacked him, we knew he would make it somehow. And … oh, surprise, Bronn jumps in and saves him.
Man: They did kill some characters in this series, though. What was that one's name …?
Woman: Exactly, see! You can't even remember who died!
Man: Hmm. The only thing I didn't like about this series was that it was shorter than the others. Seven episodes instead of ten. Maybe they spent all their money on that dragon!
Woman: Right! I don't understand why they did it, as all the fans would happily watch ten episodes.
Man: I reckon that now they're not using the story in the books any more, they don't have as many ideas.
Woman: That would explain why they're not being as brave with the story too. It's more like a Hollywood film than a TV show now.
Man: So, is Tyrion still your favourite character?
Woman: You know … surprisingly, I think my favourite might be Cersei.
Man: What?!
Woman: She's so interesting! All the awful things she's done and the way she's just aiming for revenge, even though it won't make her happy. She still surprises us because we're expecting her to have a happy ending where she sees her mistakes and becomes a good person. But she never does, no matter what it costs her. She's unpredictable because we just can't believe anyone would be like her.
Man: I guess. You don't have to like a character for them to be your favourite!
I think they are talking about "Game of Thrones". In my opinion this is wonderful serises, beacause of its gorgeous scenes of snow mountains and towns of that time. You really appreciate every feelings of the characters and you like diving in that events, actually for me, this is important for the series.
I don't really know what series they are talking about. But i think it's good. My favourite TV show is "Wednesday". And does the Afton family count as a TV show? If yes then it's also my favourite.
I don't know the series this chat is about. I don't watch TV much so I don't have a specific favorite show. Generally, I love the comedy ones.
Sometimes our English teacher makes listening Test and I was really bad since the past 3 years I became better by starting from the beginner level.
Now I am thankful because british council gave me free lessons and I will use it for the rest of my life.
I didn't know which series they were talking about but after reading the comments I understand that they were talking about "Game Of Thrones". I didn't watch this series but I watched some edits in instagram so I know the faces of the actress and actors but ı don't know their names. I generally don't watch tv series because I don't have so much time to do this. Instead of watching tv series, I watch movies in my free time. However, when I was covid, I watch "La Casa De Papel" and "The Walking Dead". I love action and science fiction series and movies. I like TWD because there are really good effect and scenes. In the series, they are helping each other to live even though they don't know each other. The survival instinct drives them to be together. It is so long series and you can see the improving of the characters. Moreover, La Casa De Papel is good series because the characters are not predictable and action scenes are satisfying.
They were talking about game of thrones. For me, my favorite tv show is Breaking Bad, as it is very realistic with no nudity and the end was perfect. It is a piece of art.
I had no idea which series they were talking about, but when i read comments i realised that was ' Game Of Thrones'. I haven't watched it yet, but i'd like to. My favourite TV series - it's 'Hannibal' NBC. I love and admire it for such majestic cinematography in this show, like its so satisfying. Let's forget about human flesh in scenes where hannibal cooks bc its so beautiful... and yep hannigram is the most powerful couple i've ever seen!
I think, it was about 'Game of Thrones'. The serious was amazing. I loved much except last season. Last season was easy to predictable and which is the woman said in the record. I agree with that. My favourite series was 'Vikings'. I watched twice. Script was amazing and interesting. I recommend, if you haven't seen yet.
It was about Game of Thrones series. I think it was a great series. I love it and the series like Vikings.
I think the persons in the chat are talking about the game of thrones series
I heard a lot from my friends that it is a thrilling series that everyone should watch but I didn't convince because I am not the kind of person who loves this type of fiction series. for me, I like watching some nonfiction series or a documentary like the last one I watched and it was great and cleared up a lot of secrets and showed us the dark side of social media companies.
The documentary's name is The Social Dilemma and his idea is to come with people that work in social media companies to explain what is behind the scene and how these companies use anything to make a profit legal or illegal.
there was a good quote in the documentary that said "if you don't pay for the product, then you are the product" which I completely agree with it because we are paying such as companies with our data and personal Information
I recommend everyone who doesn't see it before to watch it because you will be aware of these bad things in the future.
