We asked people about their favourite weather and how it makes them feel. Here's what they said.
I grew up in Vermont, USA, where we had winter weather from October to April, and temperatures could reach -35 degrees. Now that I live near Barcelona, I don't miss such long winters or such extreme cold, but neither do I like the long, hot and muggy summer weather we have here. My favourite weather is moderately sunny or partly cloudy skies with cool temperatures at night and warm ones during the day. I think it's because I love being outside, and this is the most comfortable weather for that.

I'm from Cornwall, in south-west England, and the weather there is amazing as it's full of surprises. You can have 'four seasons in one day' sometimes, as it's really changeable. You can wake up in the rain, then have a few hours of sunshine and then it goes cloudy and wet again. You just never know what's next! But the best thing about Cornish weather is the wind. There's nothing better than walking on the cliffs and having the fresh air blow in from the Atlantic. It's really refreshing. I also even quite enjoy mizzle, which is a local word to describe the combination of mist and drizzle.
Jo
This might be a bit unusual, but I really like cold weather! I like wrapping up warm with a thick coat, scarf, hat and boots, and seeing my breath condense in the air. I like sipping hot chocolate to warm up. It is exciting to look out of the window in the morning and see a carpet of snow on the ground from an overnight snowfall. It makes me feel happy and nostalgic.
Jonathan
This is pure nostalgia, but I miss snow! I remember that magical feeling as a child, watching white flakes falling from the sky. It was the best thing that could possibly happen on a school day. You open the curtains in the morning and find everything covered in white. When it doesn't happen often, it's so exciting, beautiful and different. And you just know that normal life is cancelled for the day.

Nowadays, spring is in the full. The weather is awesome due to the rainy season and cool breeze blowing around. The weather really turns my mood on, some times I feel like I should be with some I love. The weather has a very big impact on my mood. I like the winter and spring seasons. there is no sweating in these seasons. Mostly, the sky is dark and cloudy in these seasons.
The weather in my department where I live, it is almost always humid. Every time rains over here. but it is also sunny and hot. The people here love the rain, so they go out to enjoy the rainy-day playing soccer, volleyball, even hide and seek. my department is the 3rd most rainy place of the world.
Here in Damascus - Syria we've four seasons. Spring, summer, autumn and winter. I prefer autumn season because it's warm weather and no pollen like spring.
I like rain but I do not like winter, I like summer but I do not like the high temperature which maybe reach to 40 I like all seasons but unfortunately I live in Syria where no place to interest the weather
I am sure, I like sun, sea and warm weather. It`s cool to go to mountains and enjoy from picturesque view of fresh green leaves or lay on the seashore and observe on sunset
Hello everyone,
I m from Comoros, little islands between Madagascar and Africa. Here, we have two seasons, the warm and wet season and the cold and dry one. My favorite is the warm and wet season since during that period, it's sunny and warm. Actually i crave warm temperatures even if it's raining. I don't like cold. When it's chilly here, i can't sleep well and i catch the flu. I love also hearing the thunder and the wind within, though it's during that season when may take place cyclones. Madagascar is victim of many of these, I don't know if we can be used to such a phenomenon but i guess they should surrender as weather is matter of fate. Anyway, when it's warm, beaches are mostly crowded.
Hi there, I am living in air front. It`s Mongolia. We have a four season. So our winter is too cold. Sometimes it reaches -40 and average temperature is -30 in the middle of the winter. Spring has almost every winter in a day and windy. Summer and autumn are so nice. Our country has not a humid air, it is almost dry. So summer days are not like in the tropical sweltering weather. It`s more pleasant for us. Sunny, drizzly, rainy and hazy days of the summer are all nice. Most attractiveness is that all the rivers and lakes are flowing. I like swimming in the river and lake, that`s why I like the summer. Then, fall seems like mature. We can see so many colors in the fall. When I see fall, I always think about human life.
When I lived in Vermont, the fall was my favorite season too, I suppose because of all the colors, and, as you say, it made me think about life. Here in Spain it's not as impressive, but the spring is amazing with all the flowers.

I'm from Alexandria, in Egypt, and the weather there is amazing. where we had winter weather from November to March, and temperatures reach 7 degrees. You can have four seasons in one day. We run in the rain, then have a few hours of wind and then it goes cloudy and rains again. You can’t expect what will happen. There's nothing better than walking in the rain with a cup of Ice Cream and having the fresh air from the Mediterranean sea. It's amazing.

Good Afternoon everyone,
We have four seasons, here, in my country namely Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn. The weather temperatures remain moderate during Spring and Autumn which makes them my favorite seasons.
Except for the insects that comes out of their wholes, Spring is, perhaps, my most favorite season. Unlike Autumn, in spring the plants and trees blossom flowers, which makes this season even more beautiful.
I also had the opportunity to spend five years in a tropical country. The good thing about the weather over there, was that you don't have extreme temperatures in Summers and Winters. The down side was that one gets easily bored of the unending sunny rainy duo round the year.
Anyway, since I am back to my home country and it is Spring season here so I am very happy these days.
Hi. I'm from Colombia, a tropical country. It's usually rainy and hot in the same day. But I prefer cool temperatures with cloudy skies.
Hello Everybody, I am Rawaz from kurdistan, I live in erbil and particularly we have four season here, winter, summer, spring and fall ..

I'm from Mombasa, Kenya. Over here it's very hot, the perfect weather for the beach.
Hello everybody,
I'm Rita from Paris. I totally agree with Jonathan, I feel the same way.
Hello,
I am from Turkiye. I really enjoy fall and spring seasons. The weather is always great to go out without coats. I like the way how it is chilly and sometimes mizzling in the mornings. Also, what i really enjoy about these seasons is so fun to watch the nature. Nowadays, these two seasons are so short, so i always try to go out and have fun when the wheather is like that.
Hi, I'm Nisa from Indonesia. Unfortunately, in Indonesia we only has two seasons, summer and rain. I don't like both of them. When it's summer, it's so hot to handle at day or at night. I also don't like rainy day because it can cause the flood sometimes. I hope I can see what snow day looks like someday.
Hi Nisa,
I am Pakistan. I have spent five years in mainland Malaysia, a tropical country like Indonesia. I also have few Indonesian friends which I met in Malaysia. The best things about tropical weather is that you don't have extreme temperatures. The down side, for people like us, is that we get bore easily from the sunny rainy duo round the year.
In my experience, the people of Indonesia are cool minded and awesome.
I am from Indonesia, a tropical country with hot temperatures throughout the year. I was born and raised there. So, I have experienced how the hot weather was.
Now, I am living in England, a four seasons country. What I love pretty much about the season is spring. In spring, we can see everything is blooming, the trees are getting green, and the temperatures are cool. We have lots of sunlight makes us feel more energized.
But England has unexpected weather. We sometimes have four seasons in a day. In the morning, it is a bit hazy, and it is rainy in the afternoon, or windy, as well as sunshine.
I live in a tropical country where it is either sunny or rainy. What i fancy most is the feeling I have whenever it just rained.
When the sky turned from grey to silver with patches of gold as sunshine pierced through the evaporating clouds. This is also the best time to smell the grass and breath cool air.
Hi there, Topsydyla. I also live in a tropical country and I know what you mean when you say you love the feeling when it has just rained. By the waym where are you from? I'm from Brazil. Best regards! Olegario
Hello,
I am not keen on cold weather, and my favourite weather is soft but warm climate, not too hot.
I agree with Jo: "There's nothing better than walking on the cliffs and having the fresh air blow in from the Atlantic".
I prefer the sea and the mild temperatures by the seaside.
So, could this kind of climate like anyone from the team?
So am I. I really like warm climate too.
For me it really depends on just how warm it is. I like warm weather, but for me anything above about 28 is hot. It's fine for a few hours a day, but when it's most of the day, I don't enjoy it. Actually, the worst is when the temperature doesn't drop below 25 or so at night -- I find that really unpleasant.
