Wood helps provide millions of people with clean and safe drinking water, cook food and build shelter. But wood can do even more.

Wood can build skyscrapers and replace plastic. With advances in science, wood is changing how we see the world, how we dress and how we move in more climate-friendly ways.

Through nanotechnology, wood can help us heal and find new cures. Wood is even taking us to space.

When forests are managed sustainably, wood is a renewable resource.

Choose sustainable wood for people and the planet.

In my opinion humans face the deforestation offsetting their efforts to preserve forests. The only way to keep the earth, the same meaning of human surval, is to improve the climate environment more efficiently than the past.

Forests are more important than the video has mentioned. They don't just provide wood, they provide us oxygen which is the most crucial element to breathe. They are home to animals. They have a wide variety of foods for people. And a lot of things we don't know ...

I haven't known that wood is renewable energy until I watched this video. I was thinking that trees are perishing, that's why woods can't be a renewable energy source.

Forests are undoubtedly crucial to human beings and the Earth. As we know, our houses/buildings and enormous daily products such as tissues are made of wood. More importantly, forests provide oxygen and adsorb carbon dioxide. Without forests, human beings and many species living on the Earth will lose their homeland. Without forests, the earth might end up as deserts or oceans.
