Hi, everyone. I know you're all busy so I'll keep this briefing quick. I have some important information about a change in the management team. As you already know, our head of department, James Watson, is leaving his position at the end of this week. His replacement is starting at the end of the next month. In the meantime, we'll continue with our projects as usual.
I have two more quick points. Firstly, there will be some improvements made to the staff car park next month for a few weeks. It will be closed during that time.
Don't worry, we've found a solution. We can use the local church car park until our own one is ready. If you arrive before 8.30 a.m., please use our small car park on Brown Street, and if you arrive after that, you should go directly to the church car park. It's only a five-minute walk away. But they need it in the evenings, so you have to leave before 6 p.m. Sorry about that – I know how much you all love working late!
The other thing I wanted to tell you about is that the canteen has now introduced a cashless payment system. So, you can't use cash for payments any more. You can pay directly with your smartphone or you can pay using your company ID card. The total amount put on your company ID card comes off your salary at the end of each month.
OK. That's it? Are there any questions?
When I’m walking on the street, sometimes people ask me for directions to a place, so I give them information about how to get there.

Also me, I like this web site to listening test. It’s composed of levels. I pass the A1 and now on level A2.
You can call me thick, or having a Dory like short term memory loss issue, but don't bother to ask about the specific name of the street - whether this is or isn't true. How I supposed to remember that ?
Instead ask something like: if you arrive early got directly to somewhere that isn't a church car park (as it can contain small amount of cars) otherwise go directly to the church car park.
It is exactly the same problem I used to have with my Polish language / literature teacher when she was asking about the colour of the gloves that one of female characters was wearing in one of the scenes, in order to find out if I really read the book.
1) It like in the book Lenins by Ossendowsky where Lening classifies books into two types: female and real ones. The female type leaves you with a lot of feelings but doesn't teach you anything. The second one leaves you with new learning and something to nurture your brain.
2) I am native in Polish, yet I wasn't able to answer this nonsense question of my school teacher
3) Because what relevance the colour of the gloves has to do with anything
4) Who in their right might would pay any attention to such deails
5) What was the point of getting me to read the book cover to cover and then falsely claiming I haven't simply because I don't remember this nonsesense information, which for me didn't carry any meaning.
6) Stop constructing your questions in a way that may seem as a valid exam questions but on its own doesn't check anything, maybe except superior memory, which is not the point in the first place; understanding spoke words is.
I find that lesson good.
Who do you have to give information and instructions to? What about?
You can give instructions to your colleague or the employees under your supervision about the work. You can give also information or instructions to your family member about family matter.
actually, i'm a banker. I give information to my friends about how to withdraw money by mobile banking. I'm teach him step by step how to do that
good
When I was a student, I gave information about our difficult courses to my friends or anyone who needed it. for instructions, I don't like to instruct anyone as long he didn't ask me.
