I live in the city named Mandalay which is third largest city in our country. There are many traffic lights which help not to have traffic jams and crossings which make people on foot convient to cross the street. Street lights also lighten the roads at night .Signposts around the corner of the street sign tourists not to get lost.Howeever, there are not much roundabouts in the city ,only two or three. In my city, there are pavements for pedestrians and kids cycling bicycle or riding skates which is esp. at the moat. I have never seen squre in my city though.
Hello, A bus stop is just 300 meters from our house. I prefer public transport than own vehicle many a times. Ours is a suburban locality, the road passing through has become an alternative for highway hence traffic is increased. Traffic lights came up, crossings were marked. At some junctions roundabouts are also created. Glad to see the development.
I can see a lot of things near my house, particularly traffic. Some of them are traffic lights, crossroads, and street lights. I live in the countryside, so squares and roundabouts are not as common as traffic lights. On the road, the main mode of transport is motorcycles, and everyone follows the rules of traffic
I can see traffic lights, street lights, bus stops, and crossings near my house. Many drivers don't respect crossings so crossing from one pavement to another is complicated :( I'd like to live in a country with a better road culture.
Short story, there's a street light outside my house, about 4 months ago a piece of the street light broke and fell to the pavement. Luckily nobody was walking around when that happened.
I had a promise to meet with my friend at the town square this morning at 10 a.m. So, I left the home at 8:30 a.m. and waited for the bus at the bus stop. Since it was rush hour, there were lots of cars, buses and people on the roads. After waiting for about 15 minutes, the bus arrived and I went to the square. The street lights were off since it is daytime. I got caught in the traffic for about 15 minutes. I had to go around two roundabouts and I found out that the signposts around the town were changed into new ones. Then I took off the bus, walked through the crossing and met with my friend at the corner of the square.
When I drive to office, I have to pass over five traffic lights and one roundabout. A lot of beautiful street lights and the peoples are walking on the pavement. I always stop my car at the crossing and give way to the peoples.
In my country, traffic is terrible at the rush hours and a lot of cars are driving on the road.
I am poor vocabulary this lesson is good for me to improve word
