Tips
- Some people prefer you to use their first names, and others prefer you to use their title (e.g. Ms/Mr) + their surnames. Find out what is normal in your company when writing emails.
- Explain the reason for the request.
- Give a deadline when possible.
- Give dates clearly.
- Make your request polite by starting it with Do you think you could … ? or I would be grateful if you/we/I could … .
- If you don't know the person you are writing to well, you can finish by writing Best regards just before you sign your name.

Yes, i write a lot of emails for my colleagues at work specially for requests to their help sending documents , confirm the the good preparation for my mission ,also for they do the same thing and in addition send from direction emails about coordinate mission or respecte instruction or if their a new ones. But usually we makes a call or send a message by phone.
Yes, I send a lot of emails to colleagues. It is the standard form of communication at the university where I have worked. We use it for requests, questions, work on webpage text, work on rules and regulations etc.
In any case I write a lot of emails to my colleagues, even if their workplaces are next to me, because I prefer make official the requests or the proposals concerning the questions of the work.
I don`t write a lot of emails to my colleagues because. using email is more difficult than using messages or call for me.
