Actually, I can’t resist using plastic in my daily shopping. In my country, most products are packaged in plastic. And I usually go shopping to buy food on my way back home from gym. Most of my purchases are put in plastic bags rather than paper ones. People are not familiar with paper boxes when buying things except for some food and drink or daily-use items that come in tins, cartons, tubs, tubes and boxes.
These days, I try to use metal or glass containers for eating and drinking, whether the contents are hot or cold, as much as possible instead of plastic or carton materials.
However, some items are difficult to avoid, such as tubes of toothpaste, cans for soft drinks, and milk cartons, which are still necessary in everyday life.
I was saying 'can' besides of 'tin' because I didn't know such a word. I came to a shop and said 'tuna in a can' or 'canned tuna, please'. Now, I think it would be funny to see 'tuna in a can' in real life)
When I need to buy water, I avoid buying bottled water, but I use bottles to store other liquids such as vinegar, oil, among others.
I also buy a lot of canned food, such as tuna and vegetables because they are easy to prepare. When I prepare my daily meals and I want to store them in the fridge, I use plastic containers
We use many types of containers in daily life, such as boxes for packaging, cans and tins for food storage, jugs for liquids, tubes for creams or toothpaste, and tubs for ice cream or butter. Each container is designed to suit the product and make it convenient to use, store, or carry.
Usually we use medium-sized boxes to store things inside like: Pictures, school things, chrismas etc, but now every day I use jug because I like to make coffee and chocolate with that, also I hacve 2 bottle of water because always I go to the gym
In Algeria, I usually eat honey from a jar, drink water from a cup or a jug, and warm milk from a bowl. But I use a glass cup like that of Guinness to drink fermented milk, called here "lben".
I usually drink water from a jug, but I use bottles only when I am outside. I prefer fresh food and rarely use anything from a tin. I typically buy milk in a carton and enjoy biscuits that come in a packet.
I mostly use bottle for drinking, but it is not the plastic one but the one that made of glass so that I can recycle it. I think we all should use this kind of bottle as much as we can so that we could reduce plastics. I sometimes use boxes for moving some stuffs. I rarely drink juice that come with cans.
