I was encouraged by my daughter. She said to me: "Language is a tool for communication. The most important thing is that people can understand each other." However, I still hesitate to speak, but less than I used to.
I agree with this statement because I consider that language competence and fluency is attainable only by practicing the new language. In spite that we could make mistakes, we will improve and correct them through interaction with other people that makes better performance.
