I'm running 10 mins late, sorry!

15:57

No problem!

15:58

Aargh! Traffic is really bad. I'll be more than 10 mins late now, sorry again!!

16:07

It's OK, don't worry. I'm in the café already so it's fine

16:08

This is not my day! I'm here but can't find a place to park. I'm looking for a different car park. Not sure how long I'll be

16:09

OK, LMK when you find a place

16:11

I might get something to eat tho

16:11

Of course! I'll be as quick as I can

16:13

OK!

16:13

Found one! Be there in 10 mins

16:16

Well done! See you soon

16:16

Thx for waiting

Tips

1. You don't need to write complete sentences for text messages.

2. Use abbreviations like LMK (= let me know) or use emojis to save time writing.

3. You don't need to use full stops (.) at the end of messages.

4. Say how many minutes you think you'll need, e.g. I'm running 10 minutes late.

5. It’s good to say sorry and sorry again, but you don't need to say sorry in every message.

It depends on who I want to go with. With friends I usually late, because I already knew they would be coming late too. But, if with my colleague partners at work, I would never be coming late. I will consider 10 minutes as the latest time that I can tolerate.

I usually arrive on time. I always seek to arrive on time as I agreed. After 20 minutes, I consider it late.

I'm a punctual person and I'm hardly ever late in any situation. I usually prepare everything in advance so I can start as soon as possible.

I'm hating being late, so usually I'm on the pace earlier. I'm OK for waiting 10-15 minutes, but not more. Then I'm just leaving.

I'm usually on time, because I don't like being late, it makes me feel rushed. I don't mind waiting for someone, even for up to an hour, without getting angry. But after that,  I'll reconsider next time they invite me.

I'm usually on time, because I am a little anxious, and it helps me not to lose track of the time haha. In my opinion, someone is late when it's past ten minutes since the combined time.

My dear friend, I'm sorry, but I'm running late for our lunch. I'm still at work, trying to finish a presentation that my boss requested from me today.

As soon as I finish this, I'll go straight to your place. I hope you will understand and I promise I will do my best to finish it quickly.

Frankly, I am usually not on time. However, I am trying to fix this negative point as soon as possible because this attitude might bother others or they might see that as a disrespect .

I'm often on time. I don't like to be late for anything, but sometimes I can't do anything, like when I face traffic jams on the road. Now, I go to my job as early as I can fifteen minutes before the meeting.
