All right, so I've divided up the tasks among the three of us planning this event like this:
@Jen: make guest list, schedule social media announcements, arrange room set-up, organise musicians @Ed: book catering, send out invitations, design posters, book speakers @Mike: reserve rooms, design invitations, write and publish blog post, get emcee
But please don't feel like we need to stick to this. If you prefer to do something else, feel free to say so.
Mike, 14:41
Yeah, I was thinking, as you are project leader @Mike, maybe it's best you make the guest list? I've got experience in graphic design so I'm happy to design the invitations.
Jen, 14:50
@Jen, do you mind designing the posters too? I'm not very good at designing.
Ed, 14:55
Sure, it'll be fun. If I take the poster design off you @Ed, do you think you can organise the musicians?
Jen, 14:56
Absolutely, I know some really good musicians that do events like this one. And I also know a really good emcee. Do you want me to take over getting the emcee too?
Ed, 14:58
@Ed I actually already have an emcee in mind, so I think I'll handle that. I'd appreciate it if you could write and publish the blog post about the event though.
Mike, 15:01
That's not a problem. I quite enjoy online marketing tasks.
Ed, 15:01
If that's the case @Ed, do you want to schedule the social media announcements too?
Jen, 15:03
I can do that ... if someone books the speakers.
Ed, 15:04
I'll book the speakers. And since I'm making the guest list, I should send out the invitations too. @Jen, are you still OK with arranging the room set-up?
In my view of points, If we want to finish all missions well, we will have to divide up missions for all members in our group. Beacause it helps us work more efficiently and save a lot of time instead of putting all responsibilities on a person.
And dividing up the missions need depending on everyone's strengths and abilitie so that all memember can finish their missions more efficiently and confidently than their weaknesses and disabilities.
Thank you everyone for reading my post and wish all you have a nice day and a happy life.
To be honest I’ve never been in a group where all tasks were divided equally. I’m still in school so I’m talking about school projects here. Usually I do all the job and on one hand I don’t mind because no one is bothering me and on the second hand it’s really exhausting. I also hate the fact that we all get the same grade. It’s actually unfair that the teacher put me in a group with immature people that can’t do anything and didn’t put enough effort on our project and we are graded the same.
In my project team, tasks are usually divided in such a way that I am responsible for keeping track of deadlines. I remind other team members about these deadlines and write emails to external teams when we need something from them or when our work depends on other teams or people.
I also report the status of our work to my superiors and ask team members whether they have any problems or if they will complete their tasks on time. Of course, apart from my organizational responsibilities, I also carry out my own tasks.
Usually, I handle the marketing side of an event, which includes media coverage such as photography, videography, social media activation, blog posts, and live streaming, all of which help promote the event online.
In my project team, tasks are divided according to the abilities, skills, and profesional expertise of each team member. Responsibilities are assigned based on individual qualifications, experiencie, and technical competence to ensure efficient execution of project activities. This structured distribustion of tasks promotes accuracy, accountability, and effective coordination among team members. As a result, the team is able to meet project objectives, maintain quality standards. and comply with established schedules and requirements.
How are tasks usually divided in your project teams?
In my project teams, tasks are usually divided according to the skills and knowledge of the members. Of course, we also try to divide them equally, taking into consideration the difficulty and the time needed to complete each task.
I am a software developer. So I in the project while I working. There are project manager in our team. Project manager list task. Then we arrenge meeting called planning to assign tasks. Also I am a president of a Technology Club. I divide tasks and assign them in the meeting fo technology club.
