Hi Sunny!
How are you?
We're finally coming to Singapore so I wanted to ask your advice on what we should do while we're there. What shouldn't we miss? We'll have our two kids aged 6 and 8 with us so ideally we want to do things we can enjoy as a family.
We've already got a hotel booked in Marina Bay and we arrive on 12 May for a week.
I hope you're around so we can meet up!
See you soon,
Janet

Hi Janet!
Lovely to hear from you and how exciting that you're coming!
You've picked a great area to stay in as it's right next to a must-see attraction, Gardens by the Bay. They light them up at night and the kids will love it. Another place to take the little ones is the zoo, and the Night Safari is really worth doing. The animals are much more active at night than during the day, so it's pretty special.
As for food, there's quite a variety here. I'd recommend trying laksa and kaya toast – they're both really typical Singaporean foods. You can also eat well and cheaply at street markets. You should definitely check them out.
Can't wait to see you all!
Sunny

Tips
- Start informal emails with Hi + name instead of Dear + name.
- An informal email can be like a conversation, so you can start with How are you?
- If you're replying, you can start with Lovely to hear from you.
- Use these phrases to make recommendations:
... is worth doing / seeing / going to.
... is a must-see (attraction).
I'd recommend ...
You can ...
You should ... - Say why you recommend those things.
- You can add something at the end using P.S.
Hi!
I recommend that you explore the most visited places in Lviv! First of all, you should have a good cup of coffee in one of the best coffee spots, “Svit Cavy”. Next, you should visit the old castles and climb to the observation deck at the Town Hall to see the beauty of the city from above. You should also take a walk in Stryiskyi Park to enjoy the calm of this green oasis in the city — and the squirrels! There are a lot of them)
Hi Day,
How are you?
Guess what — we’re coming to Bangkok for a week with my family in December. Will you be there then?
It’ll be my first overseas trip, so what’s your advice, and what shouldn’t we miss? I want to have fun and enjoy spending time with my family around Bangkok.
I hope you’ll be around so we can meet up!
Love,
Mya

Hi Mya,
Lovely to hear from you, and how exciting that you’re coming to Bangkok! I’ll be here too, so don’t panic.
There’s one thing you should know — the temperature here is very high. You shouldn’t miss visiting the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Chatuchak Weekend Market, and the floating markets.
Since you love Thai food, you should definitely go to Phra Nakhon and try all the delicious dishes there.
Can't wait to see you all!
Love,
Day
Hi Sam,
Nice to hear from you!
If your staying at Grand Hotel in Oslo, your staying in pretty much the center of town, and you are close by to everything. I would recommend to take a walking tour in the city, looking at the castle, finding good restaurants and maybe go by the National Museum. They have a lot of great art, including a room of Munchs works, which are not displayed at the Munch museum. The opera, and maybe also the Deichmans library is an obligatory part of the walk.
The Munch museum is a must-see if you are art interested. Oslo also has a great sculptural park which is worth seeing.
So, here are a lot of options for you, I hope you will enjoy your staying!
Best regards,
May
Hi Karla!
So good to hear from you.
You've chosen a wonderful time to visit Hanoi - autumn is the best season to go!
When you come here, you'll enjoy the cool weather and the streets lined with autumn leaves - where many muses pose the photos. And of course, there are plenty of seasonal specialties to try!
I suggest you stay at a hotel so you'll be close to everything. I know you love museums, so you should definitely visit some. The Vietnam Military History Museum and Hoa Lo Prison are must-see!
Can't wait to see you!
Linh La.

What's up? I heard you are coming to Zaragoza this summer, I am exiting to see you soon! When you come, I really recommend visiting Pilar that lies in the city center or the ALjafería Palace; both have incredible landmarks. Despite them, another must-see is the Goya Museum where you can enjoy a wide variety of paintings. For a break from the city, Parque Grande is a beautiful green space where we can have picnic, that's a good option, or maybe...A walk along the Ebro River at sunset (I think it would be unforgettable)!
About local food, you should try tortilla patata, jamón serrano and longaniza which are typical Spanish dishes. Zaragoza also have other famous meals such as migas, borrajas and ternasco. When you come, I promise I will bring you to see all these landmarks and try these local cuisine.
I can't wait to see you!
Anne.
Hi Cristina,
I'm going to recommend you some of the best must-see places, here, in Zaragoza.
So first, the Basilica del Pilar is must-see building, but don't just settle for seeing the inside, you should take a walk outside it and look at the towers, the beautiful facade, the colors...
If your objective is to have a good meal, I'd recommend you to try the sandwiches of El Calamar Bravo in the old town or the Bar Cervino famous for their tapas.
Finally, in case that you come here to enjoy, you can take a walk in the city center, go shopping to Gran Casa or Puerto Venecia or watch a football match in the Romareda.
I hope this help you to decide what to do in best city of the world.

This trip is a dream for me. I have always wanted to visit Bali, and now it’s finally happening! I’m coming just to relax and enjoy the island. It’s my first time, so I’d love to explore as much as I can, and I was hoping you could show me around a bit.
