When I meet people for the first time, I usually talk about their names, interests, jobs, family, country of origin, culture, and so on. We exchange information about each other.
I look at the person with respect, then introduce myself first. We usually start the conversation by talking about the stunning natural landscapes, the local lifestyle, and the unique tourist attractions of the place.
