I personally like to live alone in comfort, having my own way in my own house, and no one to tell me what to do or how to do it. However, I enjoy being a part of my happy family.
I come from a big family. I prefer to live alone at the moment ten minutes from my parents' house if I can move to another place. I love being with my family but sometimes I want me time. It doesn't mean that I don't want to live or share a house with my family at all. I just want a quiet and peaceful place on holidays.
Actually, I prefer staying alone because I can focused on my project and I have more private.

Do you prefer to share a house or live alone?
When I was single, I preferred to share an apartment. It was not only cheaper, but also safer. Now I have my own family, and it's obvious that I prefer to live only with my family.
