The streets and roads in my city are mostly in good condition, except of some parts. Most time I am walking on the pavement, because I have no car to drive.
I live in Belarus. We have a very important rule: never cross the road on a red traffic light, even if it is a small road or there are just a few seconds left. When I came to other countries, I was very surprised that this is not the case everywhere.
I live in Lublin City, Poland and we have many junctions mainly in the center part of city. Fortunately almost every junction has traffic lights and crossing, so we can safely pass these part of the town.
I'm in Nha Trang, Vietnam now. Streets and roads are quite good there but traffic is awful, especcialy at junctions: everyone just drives where they need. Traffic lights is the only one road rule local people respect but not always. You should always be attentive when riding your bike or even just crossing the road, because crossings there mean nothing, nobody will let you pass. At the same time it's really hard to walk on pavements because they are always occupied by bikes.
I live in the Atacama Desert in Chile. The streets are dirt because it´s small town. It´s very natural and beautiful; We don´t have traffic lights. It´s a very touristy town with many vehicles passing though, but is very safe. The streets are natural and full of shops, restaurant, and tourists taking pictures. I love it.
The streets in my neighborhood is like: pavements, there are not many roundabout because around the corner there are bunch stores and restaurants but every day I'm walking to my house from the mall.
I live in a big city and not far from downtown. But my street is rather calm and not too noisy. From my window in a corner I can see a park in front, the junction of the two streets, two crossings and the traffic lights. Cars drive slowly and there are not many buses. It's quiet, I like it.
I live in Athens, Greece. It is a large and densely populated city. My house is next to a busy road with many cars passing by during the day. So there are traffic lights, junctions and crossings and many signposts to make it easier for people and cars to move safely. We have wide pavements to walk in any direction we want and to do our shopping in many stores. But on the other hand we also have a lot of noise. Very often ambulances, motorcycles, police cars pass by. But it is the city that I love and fortunately I have the opportunity to spend some time in the countryside.
