We use tag questions to confirm our understanding of something. Look at these sentences.

So everyone knows now, do they?
He isn’t going to ask her now, is he?
She will say yes, won’t she?

time is money ,silver and gold.

There is a sentence: So,everyone knows now,do they ?
Is this right? Should it be "don't you?"

Hi Alexandrajjy,

That sentence is correct. I think what might have been difficult for you is the question tag "do they?" at the end. Question tags are typically used to ask a question or to ask the people listening to make a comment. In this episode, Bindyu uses a question tag to make the statement "Everyone knows now" into a question. There's an explanation of how to form them on our Question tags page.

If you have any more questions about this, please don't hesitate to ask.

Best wishes,

These exercises are definitely good. But it would be nice to have something more complex in terms of new words, sentence structure, more new phrases etc.

Hello Yelena_33,

Have you tried some of our other series?  I think you'll find the levels of some of them more challenging.  For example, our Professionals Podcast is designed for learners from intermediate to advanced levels and deals with quite challenging topics involving quite advanced vocabulary, such as biotechnology, globalisation and creativity, often in a business or workplace context.  In a similar context, you can follow the process of finding a new employee in our series 'You're hired'.  You might also try our Magazine or our series 'Britain is Great' which cover a wide range of topics and are designed for higher level learners.

I hope those suggestions are helpful.

Best wishes,
