Hi Adam,
And what about British Council in Uruguay? Are you here?
I wish you were!

This is indeed helpful and interesting by the means of both learning English and lerning England. Thank you!

this is the best website i have ever seen

I think that "British Council" plays a very important role in teaching English language.

I think English is the most important language in today´s world because is the language of the science, bussines, and travel sites. I´d like to go to UK to study this beautiful language.
I think study English in a speaking English-country is more effective, fun and fast, because you have to speak all the time in English while you learn about other way of life, and other culture.
I´d like to study English in London.

Is there difference between "It’s used in education" and "It’s using in education"?

Hi nopainnogain,

"It's used in education" (1) is grammatically correct, whereas "It's using in education" (2) is not. Perhaps you mean "It's being used in education" (3) instead of (2)?

Both (1) and (3) are sentences in the passive voice - see our page on active and passive voice for an explanation of this. And if anything's not clear, please don't hesitate to ask us again.

Best wishes,

The LearnEnglish Team
