I have never been to Orford but I plan to go there this year. I would be delighted to visit those historic establishments.

Unfortunately, I have never been visited UK and I read also heard from many news that Oxford is the world's top ten University. It had a rich interest in critical enquiry. I know some of the famous universities in the world such as Tokyo University in Japan, Heidelberg University and Goethe University in Germany. I had visited Japan & Germany. Well, why universities are so important because we can learn many things. We gain the knowledge and education, social and relationship, horning our personal ability and skills, respect to cultural differences, and many more.

I have never been to Oxford. I have only seen the Oxford University through the pictures and videos. I hope, one day I can study there.

I've only seen Oxford University through pictures in the internet, and I hope to visit this place in my lifetime.

There are few World-famous Universities I know such as Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, Brown, Johns Hopkins, MIT and University of Tokyo.

Universities are important because these are places for higher learning. Universities aim to provide education of greater degree, hence people gain advanced knowledge and skills that are essential to improve one's life and career. These universities serve as catalysts for progress and development. And for a person who continuously seeks higher knowledge, a university is a great place to start.

How can I download the video? May I use it in class?

Hello Alexa_queen,

I'm afraid that since these videos are under copyright, they are not available for download. I'm not sure if this will be helpful or not, but they are available in our GREAT videos app. If you are able to find a way to use them in the classroom, note that there are also some ideas for lessons in TeachingEnglish – see, for example, their Knowledge is GREAT page.

All the best,

I haven't never been to Oxford. I think universities are the places (or should be) where you develop some mental abilities, such as questioning, reasoning, curiosity (to deep inside a theme), therefore are very important for a society to have people able to find solutions after having done questions.

Unfortunately, I haven't had chance to visit Oxford university, but I would love to, and it certainly is one of my life-long desire to go there, see those fabulous buildings, and feel the academic atmosphere. I also hope my children can study there one day.

The famous universities I have heard are Cambridge University, Harverd University, and MIT.

I think the most important contribution of universities is the students, every year many of them come out of the campus, and work or research to change the world for the better. Also, universities are always on the frontier of searching for knowledge. And knowledge is the force propelling the advance of humanity.

Actually I haven't been to Oxford but I'm looking for to be there, it's spectacular University at all.certainly I do know some of top universities in the world such as Cambridge University, Harvard University in us and our great University in Sudan khrtuom University. Universities are important for everyone because it drive you to the knowledge and improving your life and skills
