Hi rihanna,
I'm sorry to hear you're having problems watching the video.  Unfortunately, users in Iran do have trouble watching some of our videos.
We are trying to find a solution to this.  If you look at some of the more recent Word on the Street videos  – like Christmas Scene 1 – you'll see a link that says 'Can't see video? Click here!' just under the main video.  Please tell me if you can see that video.
All of our recent videos, as well as some of our older videos are already available through this method, and we will be moving more videos to this system when we can.
I h
ope that helps you.
Best wishes,

Simply Amazing !
I haven't got anything to say , the video has said all about it.
well...I'm from Argentina and I love the football , and I like the English Premier League  , I always see all matches but I prefer see the matches of Liverpool  , it is my favorite English team but it isn't the most club of football to me because I'm fan of the Pope's team ( San Lorenzo ).

Hi Francuervo
If you like the Premier League, you should have a look at Premier Skills English. There are lots of football themed resources.
Thanks

Hello! Can we somehow download videos from this site? Before I was loading your videos from Youtube but I couldn't find this one. Thanks for attention.

Hello marchelita76!

I'm glad you like our materials enough to want to download them! Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, Word on the Street is not available for download. However, you can download some of our other materials, like our Elementary Podcasts. Just go to the page and click 'Downloads and materials'.

Enjoy the rest of the site!

Hello! I'd like to know what level do we need for these podcasts.
Romania

Hello,
As it says on the main Britain is Great page, 'the videos are lively and fast-moving - best if you're already confident with your English.'
I think CEF B2 would be a good level to understand a lot of the video, if not all. CEF B1 would get a lot out of them, but find some of the dialogue tough.
Best wishes,

Hello, I wonder why metres has an "s" for 315 metres across and no "s" for 133 metre tall. Thank you.

Hello,
That's a good question! It is based on whether the number comes before or after the noun. Look again at the text and see if you can work out the rule.
Best wishes,
Adam

The world’s finest football players have given us some of history's greatest sporting moments on this very pitch.
What is the meaning of "very"  in this sentence? Please tell us.
