I think the best way is to face the situation and talk to your boss about it. It may not change but at least you have tried to solve the problem. Unfotunately, we live in a period of crisis and we worker are the weakest part....

This is a good topic. I think some people don't like to speak directly to solve the conflicts. Maybe they are afraid of freezing relationship. Another reason is they don't have enough courage to speak and they want assistance from a group of people because they think they are singled out.

I used to think like that. But recently, I found that the opposite is true. And I think the best solution to solve a conflict is approaching directly. The advantage of this way is you can understand together and tighten relationship. The drawback depends on you. Try to prepare the conversation. Try to use diplomatic language, positive words to approach problems

I agree with the text and most of the people, including me are not diplomatic when we are having these kinds of problems and it is quite difficult because we are under our bosses So we are always scared, trying to guess if it is a good idea to complain or it's much better stay quiet and not say a word about it, but I think that the last one it is not even a solution and it is a big mistake, besides it can make the problem much bigger, getting our anger worse with the time, that´s why for me the best solution it's saying the things from the begging, the most polite we can so ours bosses are going to know that something is not going well and maybe he understands that the environment at work means everything to get the best of the workers and try it as well to get the problem solves sooner than later.

I think that currently you have to do overtime in the most of the companies at least in Spain, overall if you work in a large company. My expirience with my last boss was quite similar the only difference was that he listened to your complaints and he tried to solve the problem....I mean, he tried because finally I had a lot of work to do and I arrived to my house very late in the afternoon.

In my opinion one of the biggest problems in the companies is that they don't know how to deal with this kind of problemns ( overtime and so on ) and the workers finish frustrated because they work many hours, the salary is so bad and the company doesn't recognize your achievements.

Thanks for your comment! What you describe sounds similar to what many of my friends and students describe as well.

I just wanted to point out that in English, 'the afternoon' ends by 18.00 at the latest, which might confuse people from other countries who are reading your comment, as for them that might seem normal. I think you probably meant a much later time, since 'the afternoon' in Spanish ends much later in the day. So you might want to say 'evening' or even 'night' instead.

If I'm wrong about what you mean, however, please accept my apologies!
