Hello saagii,

There's no fixed order in which to do things. Try Elementary Podcasts to see if that suits you, or perhaps (a little more challenging) Word on the Street. The most important thing is to choose something you enjoy, so that your motivation will be high.

Best wishes,

Hello Peter.

Thank you very much for your advise. I've chosen Elementary Podcasts.

Best wishes,

Dear Kirk,
Thanks so much for your advice. I appreciate your cooperation with English learners. Have a good day and happy life.

Dear Peter,
Thanks for your reply to my message. I know audio is part of the video. in our Organization watching video is not allowed. only i can follow audio and text. suppose if i could not follow WOTS, what might be next step? as i did elementary podcast and big city small world.

Dear English Team,
i have completed along with paper based exercises both elementary podcasts and big city small world. Now unfortunately words on the street series does not have audio. what's your advice to start?. I would like to follow systematically your web site in order to learn proper English language.

Hello Omer Gul,

WOTS is a video series so audio is part of it. Are you able to watch the video on this page? Does the audio in the video work for you?

Best wishes,

I'm looking forward the 5th series. (the 4th I've already listened to on my smartphone) It's the best soap opera I've ever listened to! Excellent voices, excellent sounds, excellent script, variety of dialects! I'd like to listen to non-stop... Please make a continuation! Please!!!

Hello LearnEnglish Team,
Carlos: So, Sarah ... Seeing as I’ve got my own restaurant now, I was wondering – shall we give it another go?
Does he mean that they went to his restaurant before and he wants them to go there again? If that is correct, why does he say (Hello, everyone! I’ve got some big news)?

Hello seham fadL,

No, the meaning is rather different. The meaning of

'Seeing as I’ve got my own restaurant now, I was wondering – shall we give it another go?'

is something like

'Now that I have my own restaurant, shall we try again?'

Best wishes,
