Task 1

Task 2

Look at this sentence from the audio.

I’m sorry – I thought it was planned.

We form the passive with the verb 'to be' in the right tense and the past participle.

Task 3

Task 4

Find adjectives in the puzzle with the same meaning. All the puzzle words are used in the conversation.

task 4 was little difficult. I'm enjoying.

it was not that easy

To know who is talking it was very hard for me. Indentify the characters of the history was a challenge.

Last task (I mean the puzzle) was really difficult for me. Despite my fail I'm happy because I'm learning new things and reviewing some of my English knowledge.

It was difficult for me

could you please tell me on which situations we are using ! symbol.

Hello anitasamyani,

There is no rule about this, but we use the exclamation mark to show that a sentence is amazing or surprising in some way, or (in dialogue) to show that it was said with a particularly emotional tone. It is considered bad style to overuse exclamation marks.

Hello anitasamyani,

There are different ways of doing this, but one common way is to say something like 'Please see the attached file'. By the way, you might want to look through our English for Emails section.

All the best,
