Lots of students, from all over the world, come to Britain each year to study. Nick visits Oxford University and the London School of Economics and talks to some students to find out what it's like to study in the UK.

Thanks kirk. Could you tell me plaease what does 'at the same sense' mean? Please help me.

Thanks in advance

Hello Sahaya,

To be honest, I'd never heard 'at the same sense' used in this way before watching this video. It must be a phrase from some variety of English. Here it clearly means 'at the same time', which means something like 'nevertheless' – see the explanation of this idiom in the Cambridge dictionary.

Hello kirk,
please help me with the following. Have a look at the following.
1) I am three.
2) I am three and a half.
3) I am two and a half three.
Now, could you tell me please, what's meant by 'two and a half three'?

Thanks in advance

Hello Sahaya princiya,

Please read the What are the comment sections for? section on our Help page, where you can see that our ability to answer questions such as these, which are unrelated to the page, is limited.

In any case, I'm afraid I can't help you, as that phrase doesn't make any sense to me!

Best wishes,

Hello Amar,

Our purpose at LearnEnglish is to help our users improve their English through helping them navigate and use the site and answer questions about the language. I'm afraid that we can't help with the kinds of questions you ask us here. I expect that somewhere on Oxford University's site, there is a place where you can find such information or ask such questions.

Good luck!

Best wishes,
The LearnEnglish Team

maybe you don't have informations about that , is there anyone from the team can help ? or you just guide me where can i find the answers
