Do the Preparation task first. Then listen to the audio. Next go to each Task and do the activity. If you need help, you can read the transcript at any time.

It's really very useful, i learnt new vocabulary. but i'd like to ask about the third task No.6 i wrote that's a very big question as mentioned in the audio but it was wrong, so i'd like to know what's the different
Many thanks

Undoubtedly, the activity is invaluable.

Unfortunately, the tasks 1, 2 and 3 are not available for printing them out.

Hello miss Inna,

We're glad that you found the activities useful. It's true that these exercises are not available in downloadable format, though did you see that there is one short activity, along with the transcript, that you can download as a pdf just under the exercises where it says Download?

If you like to be able to download exercises, I would recommend that you take a look at the Elementary Podcasts (look under Instructions & downloads near the top) and Big City Small World (look under Downloads under the exercises) because both have support packs that include the exercises in pdf form.

Best wishes,

Great : )))

Hi everbody,
This site is considerably useful,Iappreciate all efforts...

Hi, there
could anybody tell me about the difference with "trial", "conviction", "sentence" and "judgement", if they are all synonyms? thanks a lot. :)

Hi Sophie,
No, they are not synonyms. Have you tried looking up these words in our online dictionary (at the right of the page)? That should get you started.
If you have any questions after you've used the dictionary, let me know.
Best wishes,
The LearnEnglish Team

Hi, Adam
In my dictionary they are very similar, now I can identify them clearly by the "Cambridge Dictionaries Online", it is very useful.
Thanks a lot.
