I use jar, carton and tube; nevertheless I prefer to use the glass containers for storing food or the boxes for other purposes in place of ones plastic containers.
We use bottles the most. We usually use the water bottles for drinking water. We also use the milk bottles for drinking milk and we use milk for making cereals, puddings, custard and other sweet dishes etc.
A carton is used for milk, a jar is used for jam, a bottle is used for water, a box is used for home delivery, and a stylish jug is used for decoration. ....! ;)
I guess most people use all of them. We buy milk and juice in a TetraPak. Is it also called a carton? I’m also surprised to learn that the British Council website doesn’t work well with Safari on iPad or iPhone. For example, I could not answer the 5. question because I could not pull it down/move it! And that in the year 2020 is quite a thing!

Hi sinuhe69,

Yes, that's right! A TetraPak is a type of carton.

About task 5, I wonder if I can help. You have to just tap or click on the words (not drag or move them). Try tapping on a word first. The two boxes below should turn grey. Then, tap on one of the boxes to put the word inside it. Make sure you tap on the grey box area, and not any words that are already inside the box (as that will replace the word, instead of adding it to the box). I hope that solves the problem, but if not, please let us know again.

Best wishes,

Jonathan

Hello Camshair,

I've just managed to complete Task 5 using Safari on an iPhone. You have to do what Jonathan says -- after you put the first word in each group, to add another word, you have to always touch on the little white hand for it to move.

I'm sorry you've had trouble with this. If you'd like us to explain to you how to do it again, please just let us know.

All the best,

Kirk

I mostly use all of them for the reasons they are made respectively. But some need to be thrown away as I can't recycle, I usually keep which can be. I usually use tubs, bowls and sometimes jar to store meats in the fridge.
Mostly, i use boxes, plastic and carton. I used them to carry some trash, can ( after drink some beer) and sometime i used plastic to save some food in the freezer.
I've use almost the continuers include packet, tub, tin, bottle, tube and bowl, I am usually using them everyday in my life and except jar and carton due to no drink milk or juice, and maybe I use jar because I buying peanut butter
Actually, I use all of them. But those I use the most for storing food are jars and tubs. Small plastic tubs are very suitable to store food in the refrigerator. I usually keep small jars because I find them really useful when I need to store some baby food or spices; for being made of glass, they preserve better the food and are healthier. For water, when we run out of bottled water during the week, I usually fill up some glass bottles from the tap.
In my daily life I use jug and bottle for water and wine. One thing that I really appreciate now is tubs because I can use them to store food that I cooked.
I commonly use containers as jugs , bottles and tins, I try to use as less as posible plastic containers as food package on it. My family and I ocassionally use bottles or cartons becase we don´t consume some sort of things.
The containers I uses mostly include box, packet, bowl, jar, tube, tub, bottle and tin. I use them as containers (carriers and packaging items) containing some contents which I make use of.
I think the container I use many times is bottle. Because in my daily life I always feel thirsty and need a bottle of water to drink, I really like to drink pure water. I also usually use some containers like bowl (when I have breakfast, lunch or dinner), Jug (when I want to pour water into glass), can (I buy some soft drinks like Coca Cola, Pepsi,...), Box (I usually move house to another place and I need it to put something in), Packet (when I go to the convenient store and need to buy something like snacks, chocolate,... and they are usually put in packets), Tube (an example is toothpaste, you have to brush your teeth every day including days and nights to protect your teeth from germs).
Variety of containers have made our daily life easier. I regularly gulp soft drink which comes in can. I buy many things such as beans, messed meat, and other items that come with tin. I also use jug at home to drink water out of it. I like it the most out of other containers because it can be used again and again.
i use tube for toothpaste and sometime i drink cold pepsi so i use cans, beside i also use tub to put meat into it then put them in a refrigerator.
In day to day activity, we require all types of container. I use a steel bottle to pour warm water for myself when i go for morning walk. We use airtight container to store pulses at home. i pack my home made food in lunchbox for my self because i do not like eating outside frequent.
I love to eat ice-cream. Usually, i buy few tubs at a time. Hence, i have a lot of used tubs at home. I clean the tubs after i finished the ice-cream and use it to store my biscuits and snacks.
I use bottles the most, to carry drink to my workplace, to the gym or basically anywhere I go. Also, I use tubs every day to carry food to my workplace.
Actually the bags are most used in my town, no need to use boxes, pockets, tubs and other kind of containers except tube for toothpaste and jugs for jam and bottles for water and milk.
I use jars a lot, because usually they are made of glass and their lid is very safe. Normally I useful them to save vegetables and chicken soup in freezer.
I usually use the tube because I brush my teeth every day. Next, I drink milk every day so I use it very often. I don't buy bottled water, I drink water that is boiled in a jar. Sometimes, I drink cold coca in a can. I never eat canned food so I never use tin. I love waterlemons, my mom used to cut waterlemons, put them into a tub and put them in the cooler of the refrigerator.
The containers that I use the most are packet, carton, tube and bottle. I usually eat packets of biscuits. In breakfast, I drink milk of carton. Bottle I use for drink water and the tube when I use de toothpaste.
the most I use jar for jam and honey, bowl for berries or sup. Also I use jug for milk or water.
A bin for jam, a carton for milk, a bottle for water, a tap for food, a bowl for flakes... ~~旦_(∩_∩ )
I often use the tub. I put my butter in this container. So, I usually open it in the morning at breakfast. The same for the jar, where I put the jam
I use a tub for food, a carton for milk, a bottle for water... BTW, 'tin' 'can' sound funny! A tin can be magnetic, but a can can not! (´・д・`=´・д・`)
