I don't make call in English because no one of the people whom I am related with them don't speak English.

How often do you make phone calls in English?
Suddenly I do not make as many phone calls in English as I would like, but occasionally I talk to a friend whom live in the USA and we speak in English a little bit. At my work I sometimes receive phone calls from providers of software whom call from countries where they speak English at the first language, so I have the opportunity to practice some speaking with them.

Thanks for the episode.

No, I never leave a message in English. I live a message in hindi. I write message in English.

leaving message in case you didn't get direct answer from person or whatever you want it isn't my preferred(favorite) way in dallying with unanswered calls for that I just hang up that call and try again later.
I almost never make calls in English because I have difficulty speaking and understanding English.
Until now I never have left a message in English because I din't have the oportunity yet, nevertheless when I hear some conversation in english I pay a lot of attention trying to understand more.

this is the best web to learn english thanxs you (learnenglish.britshcouncil.org)
I don`t do calls in English too often. I prefer to email or text. Because it is easier to explain, sometimes the people don`t understand my accent. So if I write is better for understanding and to remember later.
Actually I make few calls in English. I sometimes speak in English with my wife but we don´t make calls in English
I make phone calls in mother tongue when I am working local people that's know my language. When I work internationally I make phone calls in English. That's good for me. India is diversified country so when you go far your place then language is changed. India have about 30 languages.
Actually, I'd just received few calls by English, but I'd made just one call to speak an English tongue.
Oh yes, whenever I need assitence for any company's product I often make calls in English only. That is a good practice of speaking and more comfortable for me to speak on phone rather than speaking with anyone in person.
Oh, I love to call from office to the clients. Hello, technical departments, Ugulhan Nab speaking. Hello, are Robert Jenson there? I am sorry. He is not at the moment , here. hi I think ," In case I'm in a meeting when she calls back," it's not true it's better to say,"In case i will be in a meeting when she ccalls back

Hi esi,

After 'in case' we don't use a future form even though the action or event happens in the future. For example;

Correct: I'll take an umbrella in case it rains.

Incorrect: I'll take an umbrella in case it will rain.

Honestly, speak on the phone with somebody is really difficult for me. Just when you speak face to face it is easy to understand by emotion or movement hand or mouth. But maybe it's best method improve your skills.
none ,i wish in future i'll improve my skills to have the ability to talk fluncilty with native peoples.
I suddenly make calls in english. I should do but currently is most common to orginize conferences on line when many people are together for common situations.
I seldom make phone calls in English before. Lately, I have an English course so I sometimes call my English teacher when I need her help to explain the lessons.
I have never done it before. But current, I have a class to talk with a native speaker, we have a lesson twice a week by video call. And I think it is affected when has a phone call in English every week that makes my skills improve better, I can talk with them like two friends, in nature and no worry
Dear team. From the audio above: Peter: It's 0-7-4-6-0 double 9-0-1 double 8. He spells 'it's ou seven four.....' Why not??? 'it's zero seven four six.....' As we know: O (ou) is character 0 (zero) is number. Thank you for explanation and answer.
Hi fahri, Yes, you could say the number as 'zero seven four ...'. But it's very common to say 'oh' instead of 'zero' in everyday use (e.g. phone numbers, house or flat numbers, or room numbers). In maths or science, zero is usually used (e.g. 0.7 = 'zero point seven'). Best wishes, Jonathan The LearnEnglish Team
Actually, I've never done it before. I had some job interviews in English. Successful by the way )) I've been on a bunch of speaking classes with some native speakers. But I've never ever called somebody to talk in English. I think it would be tough if the truth be known. I don't feel confident with my speaking and listening skills yet. That's why I'm here to improve my skills and become more fluent in your language. I hope I do it right and my goal is near ))
