First of all I would like to present my respected greetings and I am very interesting to attend this lesson. Thank you again to gave us this opportunity.

sir, i have one question...its about Que. no 6 from the above task...what we usually say is, the floor on the ground is ground floor and the floor above that is first floor....which is correct...?Thanku.

Hello manasisonu,

In British English the ground floor (or storey) is at street level and the first floor is above street level, as you say. In American English I believe the street level floor is called the first floor, however.

Best wishes,

Is possible I obtain transcription this movie? tks.

Hello Ilson Cassio,

We have transcripts available for the main sections of each Word on the Street episode, but not for the Language Focus sections as these are designed to work like lessons rather than films.

Best wishes,

Hi SarayGL,

I'm afraid that these are not available, but if you have questions about specific pieces of the text (e.g. 2:01-2:09), then we or other users will do our best to help you with them.
