I have a question related to cultural behaviour. When Stephen asked to a french person where the taxi station was he touches his back to get his attention. Is it culturally correct to do so in France or England?. I wouldn´t do that if I were in a foreign country and I had to ask a strange.

Hello jogrereco,

You're right, it does seem a bit strange. I wouldn't do it, either, and I think many British people would also avoid it, though I also expect there are some who would. I'm not as sure about how common such a gesture would be in France.

All the best,

There are three Paris landmarks that I know: Notre-Dame de Paris, Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe.
Unfortunately I am not familiar with French cuisine.

I've been in Paris before . It was fabulous to be there , everything was great . Me with my husband visited the Eiffle tower and we had enjoyed going on shopping and visiting Lovura museum . I remember taking picture with Monaliza's picture
so much to talk about ;-)

I really like the vedeo . i wan't to visit Paris .

I went to Paris back in the days cause my Grandmother lived there, it was at the beginning of the 1980's. We visited Grevin's Museum where you can see wax-made famous figures of French History. Later on,in 1998 when I studied in Montpellier, I've been just next to the Stade de France in St Denis, close to Paris, to watch the Fifa World Cup final. The French Team won against Brazil, a great day.
Seeing as I'm French, I know a lot of dishes, one of my favorite is "le boeuf bourguignon", but there are many others.
