I'd really like to know.. If it's possible and I don't ask too much... The different accents (and countries who are they from) of the different people in the video...
I'd be very grateful, indeed to be able to recognize the different English accents is one of my personal goals. Listening to the video I was able to understand some people better (Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and Dian Fossey clips for example) than others (Phillis Wheatley and the young blond woman speaking about the "chorizo pasta" for example... In different words, I'd like to know too which English I can understand and which not... Tank you!

Hello Josh,

I'm afraid I'm not an expert on identifying regional accents. You can find plenty of examples of accents on YouTube if you want to look into it. This one is a nice introduction:

Thank you Peter! I'll come along with your youtube address

The woman that inspired me is my mother. However, just as in this text, she always informed me to go after what I want in life, no matter what roadblocks that might be in the way.

A woman who inspires me is Barbara Pym. She was an English writer and died in 1980. She is famous for being forgotten for 14 years between 1963 and 1977. But despite of this she was writing new books during this difficult period of her life. In 1977 she was nominated for the Booker Prize that year for her novel "Quartet in Autumn". She is the most under-rated writer of the 20th century. There is a wonderful short movie "Miss Pym's day out". You can find it on YouTube

I hope you can help me!!! Thanks in advance!!

Hello Paula

Did you see this video here on LearnEnglish? Was it in the past few weeks that you saw it? I'm afraid that doesn't ring a bell, but I'll ask the rest of the team if they know anything about it.

All the best

A woman who inspires me nowadays, she is faced to the media, a woman have a child on arms, she is a figure who protect a childhood, no matter if they are experiencing a pleasure to live. she is work every day. the women are reported like if truth and trust do not belong or seeming, or dress a seeming appearance. I love you.

Thank you for your valuable service.

She was a kind, loving, neat and soft spoken woman. She was so time conscious and surprisingly she could read time from the clock though she wasn't literate. She would not spare us any time we went against the norms. She is my late aunt who brought me up.
