Hi Sholowkey,

Entries in the Cambridge Dictionary Online (see the search box on the right) include buttons that you can click on to hear how the words are pronounced. If you search for lose there and click on the first entry, you'll see this word is pronounced /luːz/.

Dear Sir..

Shall we have a go on that? and shall we go on that?
Could you please explain what's the difference between those two sentence?

Hello pruneeta,

In British English, these are both correct and have the same meaning in this context.

We often use 'have a go' to mean 'try' something and can be used in many situations. For example, we might say:

That game looks fun.  Shall we have a go?

I've never cooked using that technique before.  Can I have a go?

I'm not sure I can do it, but I'll have a go.

'Go on' has a more limited meaning and is used with rides or machines that you can ride.  For example:

I sometimes feel sick when I go on the big wheel.

You have to be over 12 years old to go on this rollercoaster.

I hope that clarifies it for you.

Best wishes,

Hello Cristyans,

I've tested the video and it appears to be working well, so I suspect the problem is related to your end.  Do other videos on the site work for you, or is there a problem with all of them?  The videos on LearnEnglish use Flash and require a Flash-compatible browser, so if you are using a mobile device such as an iPhone or iPad this may be an issue.  Could you let us know what device you are using, and what operating system?  Once we have that information we'll see if there's anything we can suggest to help.

Best wishes,
