Hello again Lucie_K,

You might find our sentence structure page useful, but your sentences look just fine to me. In any case, it's generally more important that your sentences are clear than long. I'd also recommend that you read a lot authentic texts. When you see long sentences that you admire, analyse them or even copy them into your notebook. Later you could try to write similar sentences in your own writing.

thank you for yours help. this page site it's very nice. I'd like to practice every day !!! :D

You are welcome.

Thank you,I got material to make my students, who are unexposed to the native english, speak good English.

It was nice to remember my basic lessons of english, that was many years before and with this exercises, I was able to reafirm the knowledge that I got.

Thank you very much, Peter M for your response! Many times I tried to learn English. I tried to do it differently. But little success I had. All I quickly learned, I also quickly forgotten. And in the end I lost interest in it. I could not understand what was happening. I'm not lazy, not in this case. But now I realized that it was. I realized what was my mistake. I never learn yet another language, without direct contact with the people who speak that language! You will not believe I'm happy as a child, when I read your answers to my questions. I like the feeling that I understand. I was so happy when I see that you understand me! For me this is the strongest motivation! Perhaps you're funny, but I feel as if I discovered America. :))) Thanks, and thanks again.

Hello. I study English for 3-4 hours per day. I have a question. How to use this time for the most effective learning English? How much do I need to read, write, listen and watch the video? Now I do it without any system, I choose the first available text and work with him, I translate the text, and then I try to repeat it. But maybe you can help me set up a schedule of lessons that will help me learn more effectively. For example, one hour, I read one hour I write, and so on, and what specific exercises I should do. How can I best use of educational material on the site. Please explain.

Hello inside,

I can't give you a schedule for learning as every individual learns in a different way and you need to plan your own learning so you can concentrate on the areas which you need most. This may be because you need to use English in certain ways, or because you are weak in certain areas - this is not something we can judge, not knowing you, your English or your linguistic needs.

It sounds from what you say that you are doing things in a sensible way. Reflect on what kinds of activities you find most helpful and how often you need to repeat/revise things so you can remember what you learn. Think about keeping a learning diary, for example, in which you can monitor your progress. Do exercises more than once to see if you remember what you read before. Think about keeping a vocabulary notebook, organised by topic, in which you can note down new words and phrases, and from which you can then revise.

I hope those suggestions are helpful. It's clear that you're very motivated and that is the most important thing - keep going and you will make progress!

Best wishes,
