Hello KatieSunshine,

Thanks for that information. Could you please check what version of Chrome you are using? To do that, you click or press on the three little dots or lines (usually in the upper right corner), then choose 'Help', then 'About Google Chrome'. You should see a number, for example the version of Chrome I'm using is 53.0.2785.116 m, which, now that I check it, I can see there is a newer version I can update to, though I can still see the exercises.

All the best,

Hello KatieSunshine,

Have you managed to see the exercises on this page? Or any other page on LearnEnglish? I've looked into this a bit and still haven't been able to figure out why it doesn't work for you, as I have the same version of Chrome and the exercises are visible and work for me. What operating system are you using? You might also want to try Firefox just as another alternative.

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience!

All the best,
The LearnEnglish Team

Could you explain me when we use “have got” instead of just “have”?
For example, Ashlie said: “Oh wait, they’ve got them in green, too. Maybe they’re nicer. What do you think?”
Why didn’t she say: “Oh wait, they have them in green, too…”?

Hello filipeanttonio,

The first resource I'd recommend is another Word on the Street Language Focus video where Ashlie and Rob discuss this, and then this BBC page could also be useful, too.

Ashlie could have just used 'have' and it would be correct, but in an informal style, and particularly in British English, 'have got' is very common.

All the best,
The LearnEnglish Team

It's so interesting because I really like clothes shopping and I think I can spend all day going shopping with my friends.

i do like going shopping so this video really interests me :)

Like Ana-Simona, i don`t really like clothers shopping. When i need i prefer go to shopping alone. First, i ask the price and, second, i ask about size.

yes I do. I like clothes shopping.
but, I think there is one short question that Ashlie and Stephen didn't ask to shop assistent.
"Will you give some discount if I buy one.? ;)

I usually ask whether they have something in a different colour or size. I also ask about the price if there is no price tag.

It is very interesting about clothes
