Could you tell me what accent that 2 girls speak when they recommend the restaurant for Stephe? . It's hard for me to hear and understand what they mean

Hello nguyen bao tin,

Although it's hard to be absolutely sure from such a small sample, I would say that the accent of the two girls is Scottish.

I like the series and also these comments, because I will have extra knowledge by the help of these grammar issues, idioms, expressions etc. Thanks for The LearnEnglish Team.

Hi there - I teach English in France and my students love the stories of Ashlie and Stephen. Just preparing for my next lesson and I noticed an apostrophe has found its way into the second set of questions. It's very naughty because it shouldn't be theree!!! Can the other students spot it before you correct it??? Thanks for everything you do

Hi chezsandj,

Thank you for pointing this out! Sometimes typos slip through the writing and editing process and then we rely on our eagle-eyed users to find such mistakes for us.

It's great to know your students like the series.

Best wishes and thanks again,

Peter

Hi teacher,
I can't understand the sentence "So what kind of people would you get coming to ballroom dancing, then?" It's specially difficult for me to understand "get coming" so, could you write down another sentence with the same meaning, please?
Thank you very much
Sonia
